As usual, Tottenham plays extremely erratically and it seems that this team does not have championship potential this season either, but that placing in the Champions League will be a great success.
Tottenham suffered two defeats in the last two matches in the Premier League. Tottenham started the season quite well as they did not lose a single defeat in the first six games, but now the number of lost games has increased to three. The big question remains whether Tottenham have a squad of sufficient quality to play on two fronts. They cannot be champions, but it is quite realistic to be among the top four teams, but they will have to play much better in the rest of the season. We have witnessed that in previous seasons, Tottenham was able to play brilliantly against big teams, and then fail against weaker teams. So far this season, Tottenham has done a fairly good job against weaker teams, but against the strongest teams, Tottenham has not made a name for itself. Tottenham has problems in the Champions League even though the group is not too difficult and all scenarios are possible until the end. It is possible for Tottenham to go through to the next stage, or even not to continue the competition in Europe at all.

The big question is how long Kane will play in this team.
Kane is already having a much better season than the previous one. Last season he scored a total of 17 goals while this season he has already scored 10 goals. If Kane is at an enviable level, Tottenham has a chance for a high ranking, but it seems not the highest. Tottenham did not play against City this season, but it is well known that in the past Tottenham knew how to play well against the team led by Pep Guardiola from the bench, but then not so good performances against weaker teams would follow. Simply, Tottenham recorded some great victories in the Champions League in the past and even reached the final one season, but the impression is that this Tottenham is not exactly at the level required to reach the finals of such a big competition. We will see if Tottenham will reach for some reinforcements in the winter transfer window, and what all Tottenham fans will be hoping for is that their best players from the World Cup return healthy. This team loses a lot if Kane or Son don’t play, and the situation is especially delicate when both mentioned players don’t play.
As mentioned, Conte plays with three players at the back, but the question is how much reliability the guys who play in those positions instill. It is certain that the great desire of Tottenham fans is for their team to win some long-awaited trophy, but the question is how realistic it is this season.
