THE latest addition to Warrington’s £142m Time Square development, independent bar and eatery, Parlour, has announced that it is opening its doors on Friday, October 7.

Owners James Wrigley and Tom Buckley will be welcoming visitors to the Time Square bar and dining destination for pizzas, small plates, craft beers and cocktails.

Parlour will be open from 11.30 am daily and the menu will include a fabulous selection of freshly baked NYC-style pizzas available as 12-inch, “by the slice” at lunchtimes and as huge 22-inch feasting pizzas to share. As well as favourites including Margarita and Pepperoni, Parlour’s pizza options will also encompass some exciting new combinations; Bee Sting – Tomato sauce, mozzarella blend topped with nduja and pepperoni, finished with chilli honey and parmesan; The Controversial – Tomato sauce, mozzarella blend, pineapple, and roast ham, finished with rocket, parmesan and a Dr Pepper bbq sauce; Club Med – Tomato sauce, feta, spiced chicken, tomato, red onion and Vegan Deluxe – Tomato sauce, vegan’duja, courgette ribbons, Roquito pepper pearls, red onion, evoo and vegan parmesan.

The handcrafted pizzas will be complemented by an eclectic menu of small plates ranging from “tater tots” and sticky sausages to Mac N’ Cheese alongside a range of delicious salads and healthy options.
The drinks menu includes craft beers from Manchester favourite Shindigger as well as Liverpool’s Love Lane Brewery and speciality cocktails featuring local spirits. Parlour has created a very special cocktail menu including the classics Espresso Martini and Mojito, along with their very own signature cocktails that represent twists on favourites such as the Spiced Pornstar, Watermelon and Black Pepper Margarita and the Bridge Street Zombie which consists of three rums, balanced with pineapple, orange, guava, passionfruit and lime finished with a drizzle of Absinthe. ‘Bloody Mary Sundays’ will see Parlour working with the Warrington Market, sourcing different ingredients to create a different Bloody Mary each week.

With a spacious and laidback design, there are 100 covers inside and outside seating coming in Spring 2023. Parlour will be Warrington’s new social space to eat, sip and sit with live music and DJs providing the soundtrack for the party people, all underneath a glittering disco ball. Collaborating with local independent record store Lizard Inc Records and Altrincham’s Stutter and Twitch, Parlour aims to source the best regional bands and DJs.
There will also be space at Parlour for community-led and private hire events.
The interior of Parlour provides a raw and organic environment with a stripped-back design where natural materiality is celebrated. With exposed ceilings and block walls the large space is divided and softened by timber partitions and bespoke shelving displays. An eclectic mix of loose furnishings and bright, abstract artwork comprising punchy palettes in a bold abstract style commissioned by Emma Hardaker throughout brings striking colours to the unique space.

James Wrigley, Director of Parlour Bar + Eatery, said “It’s not long now until we open our doors and welcome the Warrington community to Parlour. We think it will perfectly complement everything that’s going on at Time Square, adding another layer of buzz to an already thriving destination. We’ve been working hard to ensure that we’ve got the food and drink right – it’s a real labour of love and we can’t wait for guests to come and enjoy it.”
The £142million Time Square development is Warrington’s signature family-friendly shopping, restaurant and leisure destination. Established in 2019, Time Square boasts an array of restaurants, offices and leisure spaces. Alongside its excellent leisure and restaurant offerings is Warrington Market, a continental European-style market hall with a huge range of traders.
