Museum of Policing annual open day cancelled

UPDATE: In line with national guidance following the death of Her Late Majesty The Queen, the Museum of Policing open day scheduled for Warrington Police Station this Saturday, September 17, has been cancelled.

Once a new date has been confirmed, a further update will be issued.

The Museum found on Arpley Street, Warrington is home to a huge collection of historical police artefacts, including handcuffs and shackles, murder weapons and police equipment that have been preserved from local police stations throughout Cheshire.
The famed Victorian cell within the museum also gives visitors the chance to experience life behind bars and is always a talking point throughout the day.

For more information about the museum, which is funded through public donations, you can visit the Museum of Policing website or call 01606 365803.
