Children got a chance to create a “plate fit for the Queen”

CHILDREN got a chance to use their imaginations and create a “plate fit for the Queen” when Lymm’s Cheshire Grange Care Home organised a Jubilee Plate competition.

Youngsters from the Cheshire Day Nursery, in Warrington, were invited to design a plate to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.

Jo Eland, activities co-ordinator at Cheshire Grange, said: “The designs were wonderful – a riot of red, white and blue, glitter and stickers.”
Deputy manager Lizzie Overend was able to present the winner with a ceramic plate made from their original design.
The nursery received a Hobby Craft gift voucher,
