THERE will be a two-day road closure on Gainsborough Road, Warrington, later this month, to allow the installation of a new telecom pole.
Warrington Borough Council has given Notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Gainsborough Road from its junction with Chester Road to its junction with Silverdale Road.
The Order will be effective from 30th August 2022 for two days, as and when signed on site.
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Wilderspool Causeway, Chester Road and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow for the installation of a new telecom pole.
