WARRINGTON Rylands are gearing up for their first ever game in the Northern Premier League Premier Division this Saturday, when they welcome Gainsborough Trinity to Gorsey Lane.

Kick off for this historic game will be 3pm with admission being Adults £10, Concessions £7. U16’s £2, and programmes available for £2.

Refreshments will be available throughout the game inside the ground, whilst the 1906 Bar (formally Stretties) will be open before and after the game. With Premier League games Aston Villa v Everton and Brentford v Manchester United being shown on the big screens.

Rylands opposition on Saturday are a former Football League club who were founder member of the Northern Premier League in 1969. Having gained promotion to the National League North in 2004 they were relegated back into the NPL in 2019 and finished last season in 17th place in the division with 50 points, just 4 points above the relegation zone.

Managed by Neal Bishop and Damien Parkinson they will provide a stiff test for Rylands especially with the likes of Jamaican international Clayton Donaldson in their ranks.

Rylands fans will get a first competitive look at their new signings which include Jordan Mustoe and Kevin Ellison who both signed this week.

Saturday’s game is dedicated to the clubs charity & community interest partners.  St. Rocco’s Hospice are match day sponsors and RADIO WARRINGTON C.I.C. are match ball sponsors.

As a local community club, Rylands have a commitment to supporting organisations in our town that provide vital services to a wide demographic of Warringtonians and throughout the season a percentage of our gate receipts will be donated to these two worthy organisations.

With a junior tournament also being held at the Recreation Ground on Saturday a great day of football is in store.
