A CHILD was taken to hospital this afternoon after being injured in a fall at the new £6.9 million Warrington Youth Zone.
An air ambulance was called to the scene but was stood down after the youngster was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool by a conventional ambulance.
It is understood the youngster had suffered a chest injury.
The state-of-the-art Youth Zone only opened last month although it already has more than 3,000 members.
