Primary school cricket team are county champions

THE Year Six boys’ cricket team at Oughtrington Primary School, Lymm are county champions!

After winning the Group 3 stage of the competition they progressed to the semi-finals where they were again successful.
They then triumphed in the final, played at Warrington Sports Club, against a strong team from Bowdon to become champions of Cheshire.

The success adds to the Howard Avenue school’s already formidable reputation for sport.
Previously the school has been named “best in Warrington” for PE and school sports
