MORE than 400 Rock Choir members from across Cheshire got together for a “Big Sing” at Warrington – the first time they had joined together since the pandemic began.

Caroline Redman Lusher, award-winning singer and creator of Rock Choir – the world’s largest contemporary choir – joined local Leader Luke Freeney and Rockies from across Cheshire for the Big Sing event in Warrington.
It was the first time she had been out to see her members and the first time that all the local choirs have been together for more than two years.
Caroline built Rock Choir up from 100 members in her home town in 2005 to now more than 33,000 Members across the UK.
Rockies from the local choirs were very excited about Caroline visiting as the last time many would have seen her in person was when she sang lead vocals on the huge Radio 2 stage at the BBC Proms in the park concert in Hyde Park to 40,000 people!

Caroline and her Rock Choir leaders performed the opening set and thousands of Rockies from all over the country, including members from the local choirs went along and performed as a secret flash mob in the crowd.
Caroline totally changed the game for contemporary choirs in the UK and is a huge advocate of the mental health benefits of community singing.
She is encouraging people to get back into singing after the pandemic.
