All the fun of the fair – to raise funds for library renovation

IT will be all the fun of the fair tomorrow (Saturday) when Culcheth’s Partridge Lakes stages the “Partridge Fiesta” – a family fun day in support of the Culcheth Village Library Renovation Fund.

There will be a children’s fun fair, local stalls, food, music and much more to enjoy at the Glazier’s Lane attraction.
The Friends of Culcheth Library have been fundraising for some time to raise money for a complete renovation of the library – and Partridge Lakes have stepped in to help out.
Janet Evans, of the Friends of Culcheth Library, said: “It is going to be an amazing event. We are so grateful to Partridge Lakes for putting on this event to help ensure Culcheth has a super library in the future.”

The dog-friendly event will, in addition to the fun fair, offer crafts, market stalls, free yoga sessions, a pets corner and much more – all against the beautiful background of the lakes.
But organisers warn that there will be limited parking available and stress that they are in easy walking distance of Culcheth Village.
Numerous local firms are supporting the event.
Admission will be via a £2.50 donation to the library renovation fund.

The library is soon to undergo a complete renovation which will include a remodelled front elevation and a newly constructed Atrium reading room.
The Friends group is working in co-operation with Warrington Borough Council and library operator LiveWire.
