Man, 57, arrested for alleged sexual assault on teenage girl at party

A 57-year-old man was arrested after an alleged sexual assault on a teenage girl at a house party in Penketh, Warrington, last week.

Police received a report of sexual touching occurring at a party being held at a property on St Mary’s Road in Warrington shortly after midnight on Tuesday 28 June.

The offence is alleged to have involved the occupant of the property and a teenage girl.

The report was made on Thursday 30 June and a 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and taken into custody for questioning. He has since been released on conditional bail.
