A section of Bridge Lane, Appleton, has closed for up to two weeks from today, to allow highway alterations for a new care home facility.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bridge Lane from its junction with Dingleway to its junction with Dale Lane.

The Order will be effective from Monday, 4th July 2022 for two weeks, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative route will be via Dingleway, London Road, Lyons Lane, Broom Avenue and vice versa.
