Motorist arrested after police pursuit and drink driver more than three times limit

A motorist who was seen racing his vehicle resisted arrest when he was stopped by police in Warrington.

The male was arrested after being observed racing in a vehicle. After a short pursuit and eventually stopping he was arrested for driving offences. Unfortunately, he resisted arrest and was further arrested for this offence.

After a night in the cells, he has been charged for driving without due care and attention and resisting arrest. He will soon have a day in court.

In another incident, a 44-year-old old male was arrested in the Lymm area for driving whilst under the influence. He provided a roadside breath sample of 114 – the legal limit is 35. He was arrested and taken into custody.
