Choir and church come together to support Ukraine

ST ELPHIN’S Church will be the venue and Warrington Male Voice Choir, led by Musical Director Russell Paterson, will provide the voices for ‘Voices for Ukraine’ on Saturday 16 July 2022.

With there being no end in sight to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the suffering, death and destruction being caused by the war, the evening of entertainment will give the audience the chance to make their voices heard, by contributing to a bucket collection to support the Disaster Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Tickets (£10 for adults and £5 for youngsters under 16) will be on sale on the door. Show starts at 7.30pm

This latest ‘partnership’ concert, this time with St Elphin’s, is a further effort by Warrington Male Voice Choir to do its bit for Ukraine, and follows on from the SPRING VOICES concert in April, when the choir came together with the Greater Manchester Police Male Voice Choir at St Oswald’s RC Church.
