Road closed following collision at Lower Stretton as fire crews rescue trapped person

TWO fire crews helped a person trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic collision that resulted in a road closure at Lower Stretton, Warrington, last night.

Shortly after 9 pm two fire crews from Lymm and Stockton Heath attended a road traffic collision on Pillmoss Lane, Warrington, with one person physically trapped.

They stabilised the vehicle and used a ladder to assist the casualty with getting out of their vehicle.

Police attended and closed the road while the incident was dealt with.
