Road closures for Padgate & Woolston and Grappenhall Walking Days

VARIOUS road closures will be in place this Saturday (June 25) for Padgate & Woolston and Grappenhall Walking Days.

Road closures will be in place at Padgate & Woolston from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm and at Grappenhall from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

Warrington Borough Council has made an order on the occasion of the above-mentioned events, no cart, carriage, motor car, lorry or other vehicle (excepting vehicles taking part in the event, Police, Ambulance and Fire Service vehicles and Mail Carts) and no horses or other animal be allowed to remain in or travel along or over any of the undermentioned streets:

PADGATE AND WOOLSTON WALKING DAY
Between the hours of 1:30pm and 4.30pm on Saturday 25th June 2022:
Blackbrook Avenue Birchwood Way to Padgate Lane
Station Road South Station Road North to Blackbrook Avenue
Padgate Lane Green Lane to Orford Road
Green Lane Padgate Lane to Whitchurch Close
Bruche Avenue Padgate Lane to Lawn Avenue
Station Road North Blackbrook Avenue to Fearnhead Lane

GRAPPENHALL WALKING DAY
Between the hours of 12:30pm and 2.00pm on Saturday 25th June 2022:
Church Lane Chester Road to Bellhouse Lane
Bellhouse Lane Church Lane to Glebe Avenue
Glebe Avenue Bellhouse Lane to Lindi Avenue
Lindi Avenue Glebe Avenue to Shadewood Crescent
Shadewood Crescent Lindi Avenue to Chester Road
Chester Road Shadewood Crescent to York Road
Albert Road Chester Road to Victoria Avenue
Victoria Avenue Albert Road to Beechfield Road
Beechfield Road Victoria Avenue to York Road
York Road Chester Road to Middlehurst Road
Kildonan Road York Road to Middlehurst Road
Middlehurst Road Kildonian Road to York Road

The above Order will cease to apply to any of the above-named streets as soon as the procession in its proper order has passed along any such street.
Bicycles and Tricycles are included in the term “vehicle” and must not be ridden through any of the above streets during the hours specified. Any person willfully acting in contravention of the above order will be liable to a penalty not exceeding £400.
Vehicular access to premises will only be permitted under the guidance of the organisers. Pedestrian and emergency routes will be maintained.
