FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a blaze on scrubland on Mill Lane near Winwick yesterday afternoon.
At around 3:45 pm one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire on scrubland on Sankey Hill off Mill Lane.
Crews were unable to get the fire engine to the scene and made their way on foot, guided by what3words.
A hose reel jet and water backpack were used to put out the fire
