Two arrested following burglary and theft of large quantity of bicyles

POLICE arrested two people following burglary and theft of a large number of bicycles from business premises in Warrington town centre.

At around 1 pm on Tuesday 21 June officers from Warrington Local Policing Unit executed a warrant at an address on Redbourne Avenue, Halewood.

The warrant followed a burglary at business premises in Warrington on 13 June where a large number of bicycles were stolen.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at the address in Halewood on suspicion of burglary other than a dwelling. He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A 35-year-old woman was also arrested at the address – she was subsequently de-arrested and arrangements were made for her to attend a police station voluntarily attend a police station for questioning.
