Motorbike torched in Sankey Valley Park

FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of today after a motorbike was torched in Sankey Valley Park.

Shortly before 12.30 am one crew from Warrington had to make their way on foot to a well-developed fire involving a motorbike in Sankey Valley Park at Great Sankey.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and was put out by firefighters using a water backpack. Police attended the incident and the emergency services were able to locate the scene using what3words.
