Police informed after arson incident involving household waste

FIREFIGHTERS were called out following an arson incident involving household waste being set on fire in Blackbrook Square, Warrington.

One fire engine from Warrington was called out shortly before 4pm yesterday, Sunday to tackle a fire in the open on Blackbrook Square that is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters put out the blaze, measuring one metre by one metre and involving household waste, using handheld appliances. Police were informed.
