Arson suspected as cardboard set on fire at rear of Cockhedge Shopping Centre

POLICE have been informed following a suspected arson incident at the rear of the Cockhedge Shopping Centre last night, Sunday.

At 9:11 pm last night one fire crew was called to Cockhedge Way, Warrington, where cardboard at the rear of Cockhedge shopping centre is believed to have been set alight deliberately.

Firefighters used a water backpack to put out the fire and police were informed of the incident.
