Two men arrested at Howley for violent crimes

POLICE made two arrests in the Howley area of Warrington overnight, one involving a man accused of numerous domestic assaults on his partner and the other, a man who assaulted a police officer after being arrested for possessing drugs.

A 24-year-old male was arrested in the Howley area for possession of Class A and Class B drugs and was also arrested for assaulting a police officer.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident 26-year-old old male was arrested in the Howley area for numerous domestic assaults on their partner.

Both men were taken into custody for questioning.
