Covid-19 infection rates continue to fall as five areas record zero new cases

WHILE new Covid-19 infection rates are continuing a downward trend across Warrington, with five areas reporting zero cases in the latest small area data, seven areas have seen increases.

Lymm has seen the highest number of new cases at 18, up from 16 last week, with the only other areas to reach double figures are Callands & Old hall, Central Warrington, Latchford and Stockton heath & Hillcliffe.

There were a total of 155 new cases week ending May 21, compared to 189 the previous week and 252 the week before that.
