POLICE at Warrington are appealing for information from the public following the theft of a memorial statue from a graveyard in Glazebury.

The statue was stolen from outside All Saints Church sometime between 2 pm on Monday, May 16 and 9 am on Friday, May 20.
It is described as around 3ft in height and has a metal sundial attached to it.
PC Matt Hankin, of Warrington local policing unit, said: “The family the memorial statue belongs to has been left distraught that someone has stolen it from them.
“It has been at the graveyard for at least 18 years and is hugely sentimental to them.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may hold information that could help in identifying who has stolen the statue and hope to be able to return it to them.
“If you can help with our investigation either with information, CCTV or dashcam footage within the local area or perhaps saw someone acting suspiciously please do get in touch with us.”

Anyone information should contact Cheshire Constabulary online https://www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us quoting IML 1275282 or call 101.
