Man arrested at Great Sankey for domestic assault on family member

A 42-year-old man was arrested at Great Sankey by Warrington police following an alleged domestic assault on a member of his family.

It was one of a number of domestic and violence-related offences dealt with by Warrington Police, today, Saturday.

A 26-year-old man was arrested in the town centre and given a conditional caution for being drunk and disorderly.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old male arrested this morning after an incident in the town centre, was checked and was wanted for a number of violent offences in the Greater Manchester area.

A 23-year-old male was also arrested in Sankey Bridges for an alleged domestic assault.

In another incident police quickly found a female who had been reported missing after concern for her safety. The female will now receive the appropriate care.
