Police launch new “Knife Surrender” campaign

WARRINGTON Police are launching a new “Knife Surrender” campaign from this weekend to help take potentially dangerous weapons off the streets and out of circulation.

Officers will be out across Warrington from Saturday, May 14, with their Knife surrender bin.

If you have knives in the house that you want to dispose of take them along to one of the locations below and the police will get rid of them.

Members of the public are being asked to check garages and sheds and kitchen drawers as part of #OpSceptre.

A Knife Surrender Bin will be at the following locations:
