Police warn residents to be vigilant following burglary at Orford

POLICE are warning residents in the Poplars & Hulme area of Orford to be vigilant following a recent burglary at a local dwelling.

The daytime burglary has occurred in the area of Poplars Avenue near Newhaven Road over the past few days.

Residents near the incident have now been given property marking kits by local police to help protect their valuables.

Local officers are warning residents to be vigilant whilst at home and make sure everything is locked away and out of sight of any windows.
