Man arrested after CCTV appeal jailed for 18 weeks

A MAN arrested after a CCTV image was released by police, of a person responsible for a number of thefts from motor vehicles in the Great Sankey area, has been jailed for 18 weeks.

The 37-year-old male was arrested and charged with a number of offences including vehicle interference, theft from a motor vehicle and fraud by false representation.

He was remanded and attended Warrington Magistrates court over the weekend where he was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison.
