“Elsa” makes little Violet’s dreams come true with 500 mile round trip from Warrington

A little girl who missed her own birthday celebrations due to an emergency brain operation had her dreams come true thanks to Warrington-based Beth Trainer who answered a national appeal for an Elsa character, to attend a special belated party.

Beth, who runs Magical Memories UK says she was only able to make little Violet Seymour’s dreams come true thanks to the support of the “Warrington Family” who made the 500-mile round-trip to Dorset possible.

Holly Seymour’s daughter Violet, who suffers from Chiari malformation, which causes the lower part of the brain to push down on the spinal canal, had to have the procedure done just two weeks before her fifth birthday.

Beth from Winwick, Warrington, said: “I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help and support of the “Warrington Family” who helped with fuel, toys, love, support, kind words, messages, shares to show they cared, and the list goes on!”

She posted on social media:

Violet’s dream came true because of all of YOU ✨

Elsa is Violet’s favourite character from Disney’s Frozen and the youngster from Creekmoor near Poole, Dorset, had Frozen as the theme for her cancelled party.

Her mum Holly said Violet is Elsa and Frozen’s biggest fan and is always singing songs from the film., adding that meeting Elsa “would make her year”.

Mum-of-six, Holly, had rushed Violet to hospital after her daughter started experiencing neurological symptoms, such as pins and needles in her limbs. She underwent decompression surgery and a stent was placed in her brain. A week later she underwent nephrostomy surgery after previous surgery caused her to contract neuropathic bladder.

The youngster was first diagnosed with Chiari malformation two years ago and was just two-and-a-half years old when she underwent her first surgery and has had multiple hospital trips over the last two years.

But now thanks to Beth and the “Warrington Family” her dream has come true.
