INGEVITY UK has donated £5000 to the Orford-based Friends of Meadowside through the IngeviCares philanthropy program.

Ingevity’s Clare Connolly, HR Advisor presented the donation to the Friends of Meadowside, at a recent site visit.

Founded by Mark and Helen Davies in 2018 Friends of Meadowside is a non-profit community support organisation established in order to benefit members of the local community who were struggling to cope without the basic essentials.

“We have been absolutely blown away by the generosity of Ingevity UK Ltd. Their incredible donation of £5,000 will be invaluable to the patrons of our services in our upcoming projects.   We wouldn’t be able to continue to contribute to our community without such donations and we really feel this is going to make a massive difference going forwards” said Mark Davies.

Ingevity is a global specialty chemical company with a site in Lower Walton, Warrington that employs 157 people. Through the IngeviCares philanthropy program, the company donates a portion of revenue and volunteer time to local communities, providing budgets to all manufacturing locations to be used for plant-level funding tailored to each community.
