CULCHETH Community Day – cancelled for the last two years because of COVID – will be back tomorrow Monday, May 2nd.

A full programme of events and attractions has been lined up and Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council is hoping the event will give a much-needed boost to charities hit hard by the pandemic.

Official opening will be at 12 noon, after which there will be a performance by the Batido Rio Samba Band.

At 1pm there will be a performance by Batido Samba Band, followed at 1.15pb by Ian “Zippy” Lees.

There will be a second chance to see the Extreme Mountain Bike Show at 1.15 and at 2pm there will an hour-long pet show.

The Mountain Bike Show will be back for a third time at 3pm and the day will end with thanks, competition results and presentations.
