No new COVID-19 deaths as infection rates continue to fall with 40 confirmed cases

NO further COVID-19-related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital for a second day with infection rates continuing to fall with 40 new cases confirmed in the town.

Inpatient numbers at Warrington Hospital have remained at 65 including one in intensive care.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is currently 635 – 303.3 per 100,000 population compared to the national rate of 260.7.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate in Warrington reported by Public Health England in all settings is 677 – 323.3 per 100,000.

There have been 351 (365) new COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days, including 40 since yesterday, taking the total to 76,858 (76,818) and an infection rate of 207.7 (217.3) per 100,000 which has fallen again, while the national rate also continues to fall to 199.9 (207.9).
Testing has also fallen by -79,261 (-3.5%) over the past seven days.
