One more COVID-19 death as infection rates continue to fall with 383 new cases in a week

ONE more COVID-19-related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital although infection rates are continuing to fall in the town with 383 new cases in the past seven days.

Inpatient numbers at Warrington Hospital have risen again slightly from 62-63 while 11 more patients have been discharged since yesterday.

There have been 383 (719) new COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days, including 108 since Monday, taking the total to 76,756 (76,648) and an infection rate of 228.3 (239.7) per 100,000 which has fallen again, while the national rate also continues to fall to 217.8 (226.8).
Testing has also fallen by -56,642(-2.5%) over the past seven days.
