College praised on student safeguarding after police drugs dog performs clean sweep

1

A WARRINGTON College has been praised for student safeguarding after a specially trained police drugs dog performed a clean sweep of the premises.

Neighbourhood Officers from Warrington police were joined by Police Dog Leo and the Security and Safeguarding officers at Warrington & Vale Royal College to do a passive drugs sweep.

Much to Leo’s disappointment nothing was found, which is a testament to the commitment of the college to safeguard pupils.

Police regularly work with local partners to deter and prevent crime. If you’d like more involvement with your local neighbourhood teams contact the police online via
