1

POLICE have issued a warning about an increase in bike thefts across Warrington in recent weeks, in particular from outside railway stations.

Thefts have taken place at train stations such as Warrington Central and Warrington West Railway Station.

Police highly advise that when bikes are locked they are secured using a high-quality lock and placed in a well-lit area.

Warrington PCSOs have been holding bike marking events over the past few weeks and more events will be held in the coming weeks.

Keep an eye on local police Facebook pages for further updates.
