A Lymm road is set to close for up to two weeks from tomorrow (Wednesday, April 20) to allow British Telecom to carry out works underground.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Mag Lane from its junction with Crouchley Lane to its junction with the borough boundary with Cheshire East.

The Order will be effective from 20th April 2022 for 2 weeks, when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative route will be via Crouchley Lane, Beechtree Lane, West Lane, Cliff Lane and vice versa.
