Deliberate bin fire on Poole Park

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a deliberate bin fire on Poole Park at Orford, Warrington, the latest in numerous arson incidents in recent weeks.

At 8:10 pm one fire engine attended from Warrington was called to extinguish a small bin fire in Poole Park, near Winwick Road, Warrington.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

In an earlier incident at 13:49 one fire engine attended from Birchwood was called out to a grass fire on Dallam Lane.

Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish a fire on a grass embankment. The affected area was approximately 25m by 5m.
