MEMBERS of staff from Keate House residential home at Lymm have raised more than £550 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

They raised the money by completing the charity’s “Glow Walk” at Media City in Manchester.

Glow Walks were organised at 12 locations across the country this year to raise money to help support people with dementia.

It was a 4.5 km route at Salford Quays – but Keate House staff wanted to involve residents in the event as well so, throughout the day, they dressed up in their “glow” outfits and walked around the Keate House grounds with residents.

Keate House spokesperson Rachel Entwistle said: “It was wonderful to see everyone coming together to raise funds for a fantastic charity.”
