Infection rates fall in most areas of Warrington although some COVID-19 hot spots remain

WHILE the latest COVID-19 small area data for Warrington shows infection rates are falling in many areas of the town, some areas have seen increases, with a total of 1,655 new cases for the week ending April 2.

Three areas of the town have recorded three-figure cases at Callands & Old Hall, Fairfield & Howley and Lymm.

There were a total of 1,655 new cases week ending April, compared to 2,137 the previous week and 1,832 the week before that.
