Police warning over scammers selling mattresses from back of white van

POLICE are appealing for information following reports of scammers driving around the Latchford area of Warrington, selling mattresses from the back of a white van.

The confidence tricksters are claiming the mattresses are worth £1,000 and selling them for £300.

Police are warning that it is a scam and are seeking information.

Police posted on their local facebook page: “Both ourselves and Trading Standards would be interested in catching up with this chaos. If you see them, make a note of the Registration plate on the white van and let us know by private message.
