ONE more COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since yesterday, with hospital inpatient numbers and infection rates continuing to rise in the town.
Inpatient numbers at Warrington Hospital have risen again from 92-99 since yesterday, while 16 more patients were discharged in the past 24 hours.
A total of 311 new COVID-19 cases have also been reported in the town since yesterday.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is currently 590 – 281.8 per 100,000 population compared to the national rate of 245.9.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate in Warrington reported by Public Health England in all settings is 658 – 314.2 per 100,000.
There have been 1,915 (1,904) new COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days, including another 311 new cases since yesterday, taking the total to 73,299 (72,988) and an infection rate of 919.3 (917.9) per 100,000 which has risen again, with the national rate at 902.4 (901.8), which has also risen again.
