Man in custody following domestic assault and criminal damage incident

A 36-year-old man was arrested and taken into police custody during the early hours of this morning following an alleged domestic assault and criminal damage incident at Stockton Heath, Warrington.

Police confirmed the male from the Northwich area was arrested following an incident on Beech Road in the village.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 2.56am on Monday 28 March officers were called to reports of a domestic incident at an address on Beech Road, Stockton Heath.

“Officers attended the address and arrested a 36-year-old man from Northwich on suspicion of section 39 assault and criminal damage.

“The man is currently in police custody assisting officers with their enquiries.”
