Police issue warning to youngsters causing distress to the elderly

POLICE in the Poplars and Hulme area of Warrington have been receiving increasing numbers of reports of anti-social behaviour involving young people who could be as young as 10.

Over the last few weeks, they have received an increasing number of reports involving youth anti-social behaviour which is causing undue distress to several people including the elderly.

They are reminding parents and guardians that the criminal age of responsibility is 10-years-old.

They are asking parents and guardians to know and check where their children are at all times.

Police are warning that this ongoing behaviour will not be tolerated.
