Three more COVID-19 related deaths confirmed at Warrington Hospital

THREE more COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital over the weekend.

While there have been three more deaths, inpatient numbers have fallen from 72-70, while another sixteen patients have been discharged over the weekend.

Current inpatients as of Monday, March 14, 2022 (confirmed positive result – 14 days or less from first positive sample) – 70 (72) including 0 (1) in ICU.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is currently 586 – 279.9 per 100,000 population compared to the national rate of 241.7.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate in Warrington reported by Public Health England in all settings is 655 – 312.8 per 100,000.

*There have been 1,339 (1,010) new COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days, including another 646 since Friday, taking the total to 69,270 (68,624) and an infection rate of 450.8 (341) per 100,000 which has risen again, with the national rate at 571.6 (458.7), which has also risen again.
