Property guru to share his vision of home sweet home

PROPERTY guru and TV personality George Clarke is coming to Warrington to offer tips to house hunters and share his reflections on what makes a dream home.

It might just be made from bricks and beams but George describes home as the ‘starting place of love, hope and dreams’.

So during his show – George Clarke’s Life in Amazing Architecture – at Parr Hall on Wednesday, 19 October, his aim is to inspire the audience to go off and make a living space that is perfect for them.

Architect George, who is also a lecturer and writer, will also share anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories from his life in architecture and on TV.

He is best known for his appearances on Channel 4’s Home Design and property programmes like The Home Show, The Restoration Man, Old House New Home and the award-winning series George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.

You’ll never look at architecture and houses in the same way again.

Chris Persoglio, Venue and Events Manager at Parr Hall, said: “Given the housing market barely slowed during the pandemic, we’re definitely a nation of property lovers.

“We often have a vision in our head when it comes to what makes a dream home but with busy lives and limited budgets it is often hard to put ideas into practice or make them work.

“So this show should be as fascinating and entertaining as it is helpful and inspiring, and we can’t wait to welcome George.”

George Clarke’s Life in Amazing Architecture is at Parr Hall on 19 October. Tickets priced £26.50 go on sale on Friday at 10am. Visit parrhall.culturewarrington.org or call the Box Office on 01925 442345.
