Warrington’s latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as six areas see increases

WHILE COVID-19  infection rates are continuing to fall across Warrington, six areas of the town have seen an increase in new cases in the latest small area data revealing the town’s hot spots.

The six areas that have seen an increase in new cases are Orford, Padgate & Paddington, Woolston, Great Sankey, Stockton heath & Hillcliffe and Appleton Thorn, Stretton & Walton. Rates also continue to remain high in Kingswood & Whittle hall, although slightly down on last week.

There were a total of 529 new cases week ending February 19, compared to 722 the previous week and 904 the week before that.
