New CCTV camera to tackle anti-social behaviour

A new CCTV camera has been set up in the Poplars and Hulme area of Warrington to tackle ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour.

Local police have also been carrying out foot patrols around Poplars Avenue, Derek Avenue, Capesthorne Road and surrounding areas.

A new CCTV camera has been fitted on a lamp post on Capesthorne Road thanks to some partnership work alongside Warrington Borough Council.

The camera has been fitted due to ongoing issues with youths causing anti-social behaviour in the area recently.
