TWO men have been charged with a series of burglaries across the North West, including the Co-op on Knutsford Road, Latchford, Warrington.
Anthony Hollywood and Anthony Carroll, both aged 42, were arrested on Tuesday 22 February.
The pair have since been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
Hollywood, of Stafford Drive, Bootle, and Carroll, of Longfellow Street, Bootle, both appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Thursday 24 February where they were remanded in custody.
The men are next set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 24 March.
The charges relate to burglaries at seven convenience stores across Cheshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester, which took place between Thursday 10 February and Tuesday 22 February.
One of the burglaries involved the Co-op on Knutsford Road, Warrington on February 10. The other stores were in Southport, Runcorn, Hoylake, Salford, Liverpool and a Tesco store at Crosby.
