WHILE the overall picture shows decreasing COVID-19 infection rates across Warrington, six areas of the town have seen an increase in new cases in the latest small area data revealing the town’s hot spots.
The six areas that have seen an increase in new caes are Culcheth east & Hollins Green, Hulme, Houghton Green & Fearnhead, Callands & Old Hall, Lymm and Appleton.
There were a total of 722 new cases week ending February 19, compared to 904 the previous week and 1,394 the week before that.
