POLICE are warning residents to be vigilant following a spate of bike thefts in the Latchford area of Warrington.

Local officers say there has been a recent spate of bike thefts across Latchford, the last one reported was from Silverdale.

It doesn’t matter what condition or type of bike it is. These opportunistic thieves will lift anything with their light fingers.

When the weather police will be holding bike marking events across Latchford.

In the meantime please secure your bike with decent D-Locks.
